xgrr.de – the whole not the half

xgrr.de hat eine Generalüberholung bekommen. WordPress läuft nun in der Version 2.1 und die Plugins wurden auch auf den neusten Stand gebracht. Der Server wurde auf das (noch) als testing markierte Debian Etch geupdated und der Webserver wurde hinsichtlich hoher Last optimiert.
Des Weiteren gibt es xgrr.de nun in mehreren Sprachen. Das Plugin Polyglot für WordPress macht es möglich Posts in mehreren Sprachen anzubieten. Ab sofort gibt es ausgewählte Beiträge in Deutsch, Englisch und Niederländisch.
Allerdings sind noch nicht alle Elemente auf der Seite übersetzt. Dies wird aber in den nächsten Tagen geschehen.
xgrr.de got an overall renewal. The engine behind this website called WordPress is now updated to version 2.1 which was released three days ago. The serverbox on which everything is located runs now Debian Etch which is almost tagged as stable. The webserver is now as an high load server configured which means even a high amount of request will be served without lags.
Furthermore got xgrr.de now the support for more languages. Selected posts will be published in German, English and Dutch. This feature is realized with the WordPress plugin Polyglot. There are still some elements on the website which are not translated yet but this will happen in the next few days.
